Coefficients embedded in the data are discarded, and new values are calculated. The algorithm applies weighting coefficients from a table of values to resample the Level-1A data. The weighting coefficients corresponding to each constructed observation are stored as a 29 x 29 array, which applies weights to actual observations +/- 14 scans and +/- 14 locations along the scan from the constructed observation. Scan and channel quality flags are computed and stored. The AMSR-E/Aqua Level-2A swath product includes brightness temperatures at 6.9 GHz, 10.7 GHz, 18.7 GHz, 23.8 GHz, 36.5 GHz, and 89.0 GHz resampled at resolutions of 56 km, 38 km, 21 km, 12 km, and 5.4 km.
